If you were anywhere near a neighborhood intersection on N. 6th Street Friday afternoon, you probably heard the occasional honking of car horns.
Those sounds came from drivers stopping at the stop sign, and responding to a homemade sign saying: “Honk if you love Jesus.”
The idea of standing out in the cold and boosting the Gospel was the brainchild of nine-year-old Jace Castro.
“They came inside and they said, ‘Hey, can we write a sign saying I love Jesus,’ and I said, ‘Okay,’” said their aunt, Sally Castro. “And a lot of people have been honking.”
