ANDREWS – Since state legislators provided local control of homeschool participation in University of Interscholastic League (UIL) activities in May 2021, the majority of Texas school districts haven’t taken the subject to a school board vote.The local school board, at the persistent request of a homeschool group, considered the matter during the Aug. 9 board meeting.
