Everything from banking and holiday shopping to trash collection and education will be impacted by the Thanksgiving holidays this week. Folks needing cash to get their Black Friday holiday shopping started early may want to plan ahead. All four Lamesa banking institutions – Lamesa National Bank, First United Bank’s Lamesa branch, State National Bank of Big Spring and Caprock Federal Credit Union will be closed on Thursday.
