Businesses, schools, and organizations throughout the Lamesa area will be closed at different times this week to celebrate Thanksgiving. Lamesa ISD students and faculty have the entire week off for the Thanksgiving holiday. They will return to classes on Monday, Nov. 26. Dawson, Klondike, Sands, O’Donnell and Borden County school districts, as well as the Lamesa campus of Howard College, all will be closed from Wednesday through Friday for Thanksgiving.
