“The State of Hemp in West Texas” will be the focus of a West Texas Farmers Symposium being sponsored here next Wednesday, Oct. 9, by the non-profit Earth Mother Studio Permaculture Research Institute. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Earth Mother location at South 8th St. and Bryan Ave. Admission is free, according to Shawnda Clawson, organizer.
