Voters here agreed with their counterparts statewide in Tuesday’s Democratic party primary runoff election.
Two statewide races were the only ones on the ballot here, with local voters favoring by the slimmest margin the statewide winners in both races.
A total of 51 votes were cast here during both early voting and Tuesday’s inperson balloting.
Mary “M.J.” Hegar received 27 votes here to edge Royce West with 26 votes in the race for the Democratic party nomination for U.S. Senator.
