Two young girls facing health challenges will be the beneficiaries of the Great H.O.G.G. race scheduled here later this month by Cornerstone Fellowship.
The race, with H.O.G.G. an acronym for Healing Only God Gives, has been held off and on since 2004 to help alleviate some of the financial burden for families with children facing serious medical conditions.
This year’s race and related events, scheduled for Sept. 28, will benefit Bella Stevens and Angie Straley.
Bella, daughter of Josh and Kisa Stevens, is a 15-year-old freshman at Klondike High School who has been diagnosed with Complex Regional Plain Syndrome (CRPS).
