The Lamesa High School Golden Tornado Band has earned the school’s first consecutive UIL State Sweepstakes Awards by making all first divisions in Marching, Concert, and Sight-Reading contests two years in a row. Wind Ensemble (varsity) earned straight Division 1’s in Concert and straight Division 1’s in Sight-Reading contests this past Wednesday at regional UIL competition in Plainview.
