The Dawson County United Fund officially reached its goal of raising $60,000 this past Monday morning, according to Dale Hansard, fund drive chairperson for this year.
“It was a good year,” Hansard told the Press-Reporter. “We pulled it off yet again.”
The fund drive total was at $60,461.68 on Tuesday, Sharon Culp, administrative assistant for United Fund, said.
There was no last-minute donation to put the fund drive over the top this year, Hansard said, as just regular donations coming in made the difference.
