A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident here Friday morning that sent one man to a Lubbock hospital with a bullet wound.
Adolfo Garcia, age 56, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was airlifted to University Medical Center in Lubbock, according to a press release issued by Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson.
Garcia’s condition was unknown at the time Peterson issued the press release Friday afternoon.
Police responded about 6:20 a.m. Friday to a report of a shooting at 706 N. Ave. O.
