Early voting ends at 5 p.m. Friday for next Tuesday’s Democratic and Republican party primary elections.Early voting in person is being conducted in the Dawson County elections administrator’s office at 504 N. 1st St., adjacent to the county tax assessor-collector’s office.Ashley Rodriguez, county elections administrator, said the turnout for early voting has been fairly light, as might be expected with no contested local races on the either ballot.As of late Tuesday afternoon a total of 159 ballots had been cast here in person, with 146 of those in the Republican primary and 13 in the Democratic primary.
