Two former classmates who graduated from Klondike High School four years ago will soon be returning to the school as teachers.Probationary contracts for the 2023-2024 school year were approved by the school board this past Tuesday for Haleigh Archer and Kasey Whitley, both members of the Klondike graduating class of 2019.Both were involved in numerous activities ranging from sports to vocational agriculture while students at the school.Klondike Superintendent Steve McLaren said Wednesday that both Archer and Whitley are currently completing their degree requirements at Texas Tech University.Whitley was hired to teach agriculture science, filling a position being vacated by the ...
