A church’s drive to raise funds and collect food to help local residents enjoy a Thanksgiving meal has already netted 16 turkeys, six hams and about $400 in donations.Members of the Kingdom Culture Ministries have been accepting donations for over a week in their first annual “Mission: Lamesa Thanksgiving Food Drive.”Church members will distribute the food starting at 11 a.m. on Nov. 21.
