Flower Grove School is no longer around, but the teachers and alumni who once taught or studied there are still here. After more than 40 years since it was incorporated into the Klondike school district, the people who remember the Flower Grove School are becoming fewer and fewer. That’s why former students are putting together a school reunion June 26 at the First Methodist Church in Lamesa. Lawana Webb, a 1963 graduate, said letters have been mailed to former students about the reunion. The get-together begins with a registration at 10 a.m. at the church.
