Public access to the west end of the Dawson County Cemetery has been closed temporarily due to flooding. “It’s a disaster out here. I’ve never seen anything like it,” Terry Stahl, Dawson County Cemetery administrator, said Tuesday morning. “We’ve got graves sinking in and people coming in and getting stuck.” The situation is at its worst at the west end of the countyowned cemetery, which has been partially under standing water since Saturday. “It’s going down pretty fast, but we’ve still got part of the cemetery under water,” she said Tuesday morning. “There’s still some places we can’t even get to.” She said funerals are not ...
