Lamesa Fire Rescue firefighters were dispatched Thursday morning to a fire at a local repair shop on Hwy. 137.A semi-truck was engulfed in flames. Investigators determined the blaze was caused by an a short in the electrical system of the cab.Nine firefighters responded to the blaze that began around 8:30 a.m. at the repair shop at S. Hwy. 137 and FM 2052.It took firefighters about 30-minutes to extinguish the blaze. The truck had not been hooked up to a trailer.
