A World War II veteran, Ernie Andrus made history in 2016 when he completed a coast-to-coast walk across the United States at the age of 93.
But that wasn’t enough to satisfy his adventurous spirit.
A little over two years later he decided to do it again – but this time in the opposite direction.
Instead of a solo venture like his original trek, however, he would be accompanied by a retired California firefighter.
