The filing period is nearing for seven elected positions in Dawson County which will be on the ballot for the 2020 primaries. The filing date starts Nov. 9 and runs until Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. Local offices which will be on the 2020 election ballot include, and the current officeholders, are: Sheriff, currently held by Matt Hogg; County Attorney, currently held by Steven B.
