Qualifiers from the Lamesa and Klondike FFA chapters didn’t have much luck during the FFA Leadership Development Events state contest held this past Friday and Saturday at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.Their successful run through district and area competition ended at the state semifinal level on Friday, as they finished among the top 24 teams or individuals from across Texas in their particular events.The Lamesa FFA chapter was represented at the state contest by junior Sagen Oaks in Senior FFA Creed Speaking.
