Last Thursday’s regular monthly meeting of the Dawson County Hospital District’s board of directors concluded with somewhat of a changing of the guard as far as the board is concerned. It was the final meeting for board President Cris Norris, who opted not to seek re-election this year to the Precinct 2 seat on the five-member board. With no one having filed for that position, the board on Thursday appointed Lonny Ferguson to fill the Precint 2 post for a full twoyear term ending in 2022.
