Lamesa High School’s chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter hosted “Paint-O-Punkin” this past Saturday.
Members of FCCLA and The Smoking Tors Lamesa barbecue team held a pumpkin patch in front of the Lamesa High School.
Students worked together to sell brisket burritos, take pictures with a scarecrow and help children paint pumpkins.
Kevin Pedroza, who teachers a culinary class at the high school, is now in his second year of sponsoring FCCLA. This is the first year the chapter has hosted a pumpkin patch.
