Issues facing agriculture here and across the state were the focus of a Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) district policy development meeting held here Thursday.
TFB President Russell Boening was among some 50 people on hand for the event hosted by TFB District 6 director Val Stephens, a Dawson County farmer who serves as secretary-treasurer of the state board.
Very much a membership-driven organization, TFB depends on meetings like the one here to help shape the policies that guide everything they do, Boening said.
