As part of Texas Food Connection Day, Dawson County Farm Bureau is hosting a food drive to help needy families at Thanksgiving. Texas Food Connection Day is an effort by Farm Bureau to give farmers the chance to chance to reach out to the community and talk about how their food gets to them. Farmers and ranchers across the state are organizing community activities, donating to local philanthropies and seeking to spur conversations with their customers during Texas Food Connection Day.
