The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office is conducting a crop production and risk protection program allowing crop producers to earn Continuing Educational Units (CEU) through the Texas Department of Agriculture.The session begins at 8 a.m., Dec. 18 in the extension office at 901 S. Houston Street. Registration is $40.The program allows farmers to earn seven CEUs. Private applicators who apply chemicals to their fields and crops are required to obtain 15 CEUs in certain subjects every five years. Commercial applicators need five CEUs every year.
