After moving to town from Flower Grove as a 14-year-old little league catcher, Harvey Everheart ended up making it to state as a player for the Golden Tornadoes in two different games as well as coaching two other LHS teams to that pinnacle.
“I still feel lucky even after all of these years. I was very blessed to not only get the chance to be around and play with a good bunch of guys back then but then later coach a bunch of good ones as well,” remarks the 77-year-old Everhart.
