Originally headed to jail on two misdemeanor charges, a Lamesa man is now facing a felony charge as well after temporarily escaping from officers Sunday morning. Rudy Navarro, age 22, was booked into county jail on charges of escape, driving while intoxicated, and leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to a vehicle, according to Lamesa Police Lt.
