Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce officials are currently getting ready for the annual Christmas Lighted Parade on Dec. 4.Entry into the parade is free. Anyone interested in signing up to join the line of decorated cars, festive floats and Santa Claus can let their intentions known by calling the Chamber office at (806) 872-2181.The deadline to enter is 5 p.m., Dec. 4. “We had a wonderful turnout at last year’s parade, and hope to have lots of festive participants again this year,” said Chamber Director Ashley Tidwell.The parade kicks off at 7 p.m., Dec. 4.
