With so many exceptions to the governor’s order requiring everyone to wear a face covering in public, two of the top two law enforcements officers here say enforcement of the order won’t be a high priority for their departments.
That’s the message from both Dawson County Sheriff Matt Hogg and Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson.
“I understand the situation and I don’t want to take away from the importance of wearing a mask, but I’ve got a lot of other issues going on right now than to worry about that stuff,” Peterson said Tuesday.
