After several months of on-again, off-again discussions, local economic development officials have approved a strategic plan to help guide them as they seek to improve Lamesa. That plan was given formal approval Monday evening during a joint meeting of the directors of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and the Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP).
