Local economic development officials on Monday committed up to $370,000 for various project aimed at enhancing the possibility of future development here.
The actions came during a joint regular meeting of the directors of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP).
Following up on a discussion at last month’s meeting, board members agreed to provide the City of Lamesa a total of $70,000 to be used in efforts to improve the city’s appearance for commercial development prospects.
