Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP) members finally got a preliminary price Monday from a Lubbock engineering firm to do a feasibility study in Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) plans to build Interstate 27 (I-27) somewhere possibly near here.That estimated price, offered by the firm of Kimley-Horn of Lubbock, amounted to $675,605. A total of $351,180 will pay for the feasibility and route studies with $253,825 covering the surveying, and another $70,600 for environmental and public involvement.
