Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) officials agreed Monday evening to provide the local matching funds needed by the City of Lamesa for a $500,000 grant it is seeking to pay for sidewalks and lighting improvements in the downtown area.
During a joint board meeting with the Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP), board members committed to fund 15 percent of the project, up to maximum of $75,000.
