ANDREWS – The virus crisis has brought a new normal to Andrews.
Activities and functions to which residents have grown accustomed during normal everyday life are dramatically changed.
Some have even wondered what they’ll do Easter Sunday next week.
But after a special commissioners court meeting Friday morning, local residents will have an opportunity to attend a real Easter Sunday church service—albeit through a different format.
Commissioners unanimously approved First Baptist Church’s request to stage a morning service at the ACE Arena parking lot. First Baptist Pastor Brant O’Connor said the 10:30 a.m. drive-in service is open to the community.
