Anyone wanting to handle any business with the City of Lamesa or Dawson County on Friday will have to wait until Monday.Both the Lamesa City Hall and the Dawson County Courthouse are among a number of offices and agencies here which will be closed for an Easter holiday on Good Friday.City crews will not be picking up any residential trash containers on Friday but will handle commercial trash collection. The city landfill also will be closed to the public on Friday but will be open as usual on Saturday.The holiday also will have an impact on grocery shopping in Lamesa.
