It was little over a week before Thanksgiving and all through the Dawson County Senior Citizens’ Center early Wednesday morning, staff and volunteers prepared 10 turkeys for that day’s lunch.The turkeys, donated to the center by David and Maureen Sevedge, came with additions of six large pans of homemade cornbread dressing drenched in a case of chicken broth, gallons of gravy to go along with it, and a dozen cans each of green beans and candied sweet potatoes.
