Another new oil drilling venture is being planned in the southwestern part of Dawson County.Burleson Petroleum of Midland obtained earlier this month from the Texas Railroad Commission to drill the Buffalo Trace 15-6 No. 1WA as a horizontal well.The surface location will be about 6.5 miles west of Patricia and about 1.8 miles north of State Hwy. 115.After angling downward to the south-southeast, the portion of the well will run to the south-southeast for a distance of about 2.6 miles.
