This Sunday morning the congregation at First United Methodist Church in Lamesa will hold its first worship service in that church’s newly constructed sanctuary.
Pastor Scott Seymour said Sunday morning’s service initially will get underway in the Ministries Activity Center, which the church has been using as a sanctuary for just over five years.
“We will give thanks for that facility before moving over to the new sanctuary,” Pastor Seymour said.
Members of the church’s building committee, which was headed up by John Farris, also will be recognized.
