Thirty residents of Dawson County have now died as a result of COVID-19, according to the latest information from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). The number posted on the department’s website Friday morning represents a sharp jump from the 23 Dawson County deaths which the website was showing on Wednesday.
