Dawson ISD Superintendent Jeff Fleenor updated members of the school board about asking the Weaver Foundation to fund improvements for the campus during the board’s regular meeting this past Thursday. Possible improvements to Dawson ISD’s campus in Welch could include a new public address system (PA system), Fleenor said. The superintendent said he is waiting to receive reports on the projects before he presents the request to the Weaver Foundation by the end of the year.
