Dawson school board members on Monday voted to propose a 2020-2021 property tax rate of $1.0547 per $100 worth of property. That is down slightly from last year’s tax rate of $1.06835. A public hearing on the proposed tax rate and budget for the 2020-2021 school year has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the board room at in Welch.
