Dawson school officials are proposing a new tax rate for 2021-2022 that is a fraction of a cent below last year’s rate. School board members during their regular meeting this past Monday voted to propose a new property tax rate of $1.05170 per $100 worth of taxable property value. Last year’s tax rate was $1.0574 per $100 property value.
