Dawson school board members approved a pair of administrative contracts and handled several other items during their regular meeting last week at the school in Welch. Jesse Galdean’s contract as principal was extended to cover a new two-year period ending in 2023. The contract with John Hodges as the school’s athletic director was renewed for the 2021-2022 school year. Board members also renewed a contract with First United Bank of Lamesa to serve as the school’s financial depository for another two-year period.
