ANDREWS - When Andrews High School cross country coach Wade Floyd remembers Derek Hernandez, several sides of the late runner who died unexpectedly last week stand out. Hernandez’ selflessness seems to rise to the forefront. Then there is the tenacity, goals and work ethic involved with cross country running.
