The main highway route between Lamesa and Seminole was closed for more than five hours Sunday due to a fatal traffic accident in eastern Gaines County.One person was killed in the crash involving a motorcycle and a large pickup pulling a trailer, according to a media release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.The crash occurred about 10:26 a.m. on Highway 180, about 19 miles west of Lamesa.According to the media release, Lynn Terry of Artesia, N.M., was driving eastbound in a 2019 Ford F-350 with a trailer.
