The topics of COVID-19 and the upcoming election take up most of the agenda for the Dawson County Hospital District’s board meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Medical Arts Hospital (MAH) community room.
The board will consider approving the use of up to $25,000 in COVID funds as part of the staff’s payroll every two weeks, along with setting a COVID policy for paid leave.
The board will also consider sharing any excess COVID-19 vaccines with other rural hospitals that either did not receive any vaccine or need additional vaccines.
