COVID death tally growing

As the total COVID case count here continues to rise, state and area health agencies also are reporting another increase in fatalities among Dawson County residents. The Texas Department of State Health Services is showing that 34 deaths among Dawson County residents can now be attributed to the virus. That is an increase of two from the local death toll being reported by the state last Friday. The South Plains Public Health District’s website is now showing 13 COVID-related deaths here.
