COVID-19 is continuing to take a deadly toll here, according to information from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS).
The state’s lead health agency is now reporting 59 COVID-related deaths among Dawson County residents.
That number, posted Tuesday on the TDSHS website, is up by five from just last Friday.
Meanwhile, 28 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed among Dawson County residents during the past few days.
That’s according to information posted by the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) on its website Tuesday night.
