COVID-19 is continuing to take a deadly toll here, according to information from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). The state’s lead health agency is now reporting 59 COVID-related deaths among Dawson County residents. That number, posted Tuesday on the TDSHS website, is up by five from just last Friday.
