No news was good news at Friday afternoon’s weekly COVID-19 update by local government leaders and medical personnel.
Dawson County has not seen any new cases of COVID-19 during the past few days, Mayor Josh Stevens announced.
That keeps Dawson County’s total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus at 39 since the first case here was reported in late March.
The news got even better after the Facebook Live update, as City Manager Sean Overeynder said he received information that three more of the individuals here who have had the virus have now been cleared by health authorities.
