COVID cases down to five

After making a bit of jump during the middle of last week, Dawson County’s active COVID-19 cases are at their lowest number in months.Only five residents of Dawson County currently have active COVID cases, according to an update issued Tuesday evening by Zach Holbrooks, executive director of the South Plains Public Health District.That comes after 34 active cases were reported on Wednesday evening of last week, and 25 active cases on Friday.The last time the health district reported fewer than 10 active COVID case in Dawson County was on July 30 of last year, when there were seven.But while the ...
