The first part of this week has seen a series of ups and downs in the number of active COVID-19 cases in Dawson County.
It started Monday with an announcement by Mayor Josh Stevens that one more case had been confirmed during the weekend.
But that was followed the same afternoon by an announcement three individuals with the virus have recovered and been cleared of quarantine.
Then on Wednesday morning Stevens reported one additional person has recovered but another has been confirmed with COVID-19.
